Blue Trees in London

Whilst on a recent trip home to London, I stumbled upon these blue trees right next to Saint Paul's cathedral. It was magical and made me feel like I walked straight onto an Alice in Wonderland set or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's garden of sweets (the one where Augustus Gloop falls into the chocolate river and gets sucked/ stuck up a pipe...). On a more serious note, international artist Konstantin Dimopoulos created The Blue Trees environmental art installation in the heart of London to celebrate the 20th birthday of Trees for Cities. They are currently in 3 London locations:

  • Festival Gardens (near St Paul’s Cathedral) – London EC4M 6QQ
  • Devonshire Square - London EC2M 4WD
  • Aldermanbury Square - London EC2V

I only managed to see the ones in the Festival Gardens but it definitely put a smile on my face and is well worth a visit!
