We headed to the seaside for the Pchum Ben holidays and Kep did not disappoint! We stayed at the beautiful Knai Bang Chatt resort and made a feast of all the seafood on offer, the crab and pepper dish is not to be missed! A trip to the nearby islands is also a must for those who enjoy snorkelling.
We've recently updated and added a few new colours to our tie dye silk necklace collection. Fastening with a bow, the length can be adjusted or wear multiple colours at one time to create a a more playful layered look as seen in these photos. Pop over to our products page for more information.

We have been busy bees working on all the new collections launching this October and here is a little teaser of what's to come to start us all off! Our Blue and White Shibori silk cushion collection was such a success that we decided to introduce two more softer colours to our range. Here is a little sneak peak at our new Grey and Dusty Pink shibori cushion samples. We hope you like them, and they will be available next month. Check the products section for more info.

We are making the most of the low season to take a cheeky break before heading to the workshops to develop our new collections with our craftsmen for the next high season. The shop will be closed until mid-July, we look forward to seeing you when we re-open!

It's that time of year again when Siem Reap comes to a halt to celebrate Khmer New Year. These colourful paper stars can be seen all over town and are specific to Siem Reap province. Tucked away behind one of the main streets are half a dozen star makers, who start working on the star frames as early as the beginning of March to be able to meet the demand of the whole town.
We will be closing our shop from Wednesday the 13th to participate and enjoy the local festivities and will re-open our doors and be ready to greet you from Monday the 18th of April at 10am. Happy Khmer New Year!
We've had a couple of lovely surprise features in the press recently, one in the Good Weekend Australia last Sunday along with a mention in Thursday's Evening Standard article on Cambodia, see full article here: Standard ES. It's great to see our Kandal Village neighbourhood receiving some international love!
We are so pleased to have been featured in the April 2016 issue of Conde Nast Traveller UK! Not only did we get a mention but they also used not one but two photos of our shop, one of our daybed laden down with our cushions, blankets and scarf collections and another shot of one of our favourite products, the diamond vase. We are chuffed to bits!
A couple of weekends ago, Siem Reap was treated to a beautiful glowing Giant Puppet parade. The puppets are made from rattan and paper, and the event is used as a platform to make people aware of Cambodia's endangered and indigenous species. For more info on the Giant puppet project visit: http://www.giantpuppetproject.com/
Here is the latest addition to our ceramic animal kingdom, the horse joins the bunny, turtle and elephant family!
All ceramic animals will soon be added to our products gallery so watch this space...
We are pleased to announce the arrival of our new oil burner, finally available in store! The bird pattern is inspired by the bas relief carvings found at Angkor's Bayon Temple and on a practical note, the water holder is deep enough to ensure your candle will burn out long before the water does. One is always on the go in the shop, with a few drops of citronella oil to infuse the shop with a fresh scent as well as acting as a mosquito repellent. We'll be trying them out with lavender oil for a relaxing effect at home.
We have received some beautiful flowers this month, and what better way to show them off then in our latest vase collection. Happy 2016 everyone!
We've been a bit quiet on the blog recently so thought we would give you a little taste of what our lifestyle boutique looks like nowadays with all the new collections on display. We hope you like it!
